What are POP charges and how are they paid?

To subscribe to the NPS, subscribers pay service charges to the POP.  This includes an initial subscriber registration charge of Rs.100/-, an ad valorem transaction charge of 0.25% of the initial contribution amount, which can be a minimum of Rs.20/- and a maximum of Rs.25,000/- Subscribers also incur charges for subsequent transactions entailing contributions, change in subscriber details, switching investment schemes or fund manager, withdrawal request processing, subscriber shifting, printed account statement and any other charges mandated by the PFRDA
