What is the minimum hospital stay under a health insurance policy?

Under Mediclaim and health insurance policies, the minimum hospital stay is 24 hours. There are exceptions where a stay can be less than 24 hours when the individual receives technologically advanced treatment that do not require 24-hour hospitalization.
